As vice president of managed services at Sensory Spectrum, Clare Dus leads the teams that design and execute technical approaches to consumer product evaluation. With more than 30 years of experience consulting to the consumer products industry, she has tasted, smelled, felt and looked at a wide range of consumer products. Dus is a trained facilitator in Creative Problem Solving and uses the skills to design and execute unique testing methodologies. Within Sensory Spectrum, she has led the development teams for consumer storytelling, sequence mapping and co-creation consumer labs. Recent work has resulted in her applying polarity thinking to understanding consumer tensions. Dus has a bachelor’s in food science from Rutgers University. She is currently the vice chair for the board of trustees for the Creative Education Foundation. She is a long-time leader and presenter for the Creative Problem Solving Institute and is a Distinguished Leader awardee.
