Unpack Your Inheritance: Creativity, Inclusion & Leadership (Full Day Program)

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Inheritance (n): ancestry, culture, beliefs, values, social conditions, stories, traits and perspectives received from past generations.

Your unique inheritance influences the way you see the world, the way you communicate and interact with others, and the way you create, envision, ideate, develop and implement your ideas.

Using the Inheritance Project's distinct methodology, which combines self-reflection, storytelling, dialogue and somatic exercises, you will uncover how your inheritance influences your creativity and leadership style.

We will recognize and transform inherited beliefs and stories that limit your capacity to be creative, lead confidently and connect with others from all walks of life. You will take home practical tools to create inclusive environment where people from all backgrounds feel safe to contribute their full creativity.

Expect to move, be moved and gain a deeper understanding of what makes you...you?

Three Key Takeaways:
  • Gain greater understanding of your unique inheritance and how it influences the way you approach creativity and leadership
  • Learn an embodied methodology to identify and transform inherited beliefs that limit your creativity and capacity to lead
  • Practice inclusive leadership skills and receive practical tools for facilitating inclusive, creative environments
How to Prepare?

1. Bring an inheritance object with you to the session. This could be any object that is meaningful to you and/or represents something significant to your culture or family. If you're not able to bring the object, please print out a photo of your object and bring that.

2. Take 30min to reflect on your inheritance and identity with Inheritance Project's free online workbook

3. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes as we will be standing and moving around.

Thank you!
