Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

During this interactive, and both physically and mentally engaging creative movement workshop, you will use improvisational exercises and non conventional prompts to move your body in an accessible, yet exhilarating way. With a lot of fun, play, and humor, you will not only decompress and spark new relationships, but provoke creative thinking and gain a much deeper connection to yourself and those around you. This playful experience also allows you to engage in concepts that help you investigate your physical, emotional, and mental perspectives as well as the status quo.

Three Key Takeaways:
  • Participants will learn how they immediately react or interact with others, how they are able to think and create on their feet (quickly), and How good play, improvisation and movement feels
  • This session will encourage people to think about how they can challenge the parameters and structures placed upon them, how they can apply improvisational techniques to their daily lives, and understand that play and improvisation affect our creativity, overall wellness, and deep connections with others
  • Attendees can apply ideas from this session by looking at the defined structure at their work or in their life and think more critically about why those parameters are in place and in turn make a better decisions, listening not only to others, but to themselves; trusting their gut reactions, decisions, and the people around them more, and the ability to make time for themselves to play and move for better creativity, brain function, overall wellness, and connection with others
