Please note: this is a 2-part session.
We will begin with an activity to sensitize participants to smell and its layers and vocabulary. Then we will go on a 20 minute “smell-walk”, and practice both “smell catching” and “smell hunting”, followed by a presentation of their findings. The later half of the session will be focused on exploring the smell of creativity using concept mapping and collage.
Three Key Takeaways:
  • Learn a framework and vocabulary for thinking about smell and its impact on creativity
  • An introduction to concept mapping
  • The opportunity to be creative and have fun
